If you are based in Mumbai/Navi Mumbai/Thane:
If you are based in & around Mumbai, you will be responsible to come and collect the system from the office unless communicated otherwise. If you are facing any issue with the devices issued to you, you need to get it to the office to get it looked into and fixed.
You are responsible for getting the device issued to you along with other peripherals issued in your name back to office and submit the same at the time of your exit.
If you are not based in Mumbai/Navi Mumbai/Thane:
The team will ensure that the device is couriered to the address shared by you with the HR team, and any other peripheral requested by you.
In case the laptop or device issued to you goes bad or need repair work, the IT team will do first level trouble shooting and if advised a repair, you will have to get it fixed locally, and
share the estimate for the potential expense with care@cometchat.com. Post approval received, get it repaired. Completion of work invoice for the expense needs to be shared. Same will be reimbursed in your next pay cycle.
If the need is to courier you a new system, we will courier you the same and you need to make arrangement to courier back the faulty system/device. Courier charges will be
reimbursed on sharing of the invoice in your next pay cycle.
At the time of your exit, you need to courier back the device issued to you along with other peripherals issued in your name to office address and share the invoice of the courier
charges. The expense incurred for courier charges will be reimbursed in your Full and Final settlement.
For couriering/shipping the system/laptop/testing device to office do ensure that it is packed securely. Separately pack any cables, plug adaptors, and other accessories secure them
with cable ties. Advisable to insure the package before couriering it. Arrange collection with a reliable courier.
