Other Notes:

●      Leave encashment is outside the scope of this policy

●      Leave without pay (LWP) may apply at the discretion of your Manager

●      Any exceptions to the policy need to be approved by CEO and HR Head

Our expectations of you:

● You will agree that with freedom comes responsibility – you decide how many leaves you want only when you are comfortable that your team is up to date on every project/assignment you are working on and your absence will by no means negatively impact your team’s or Company’s performance

● If you are a one-member team, you need to make sure that you and your Manager are fully aligned and there will be no added pressure on your Manager during your absence

● As a protocol, you need to check if no other team member has applied for a leave at the same time you want to – and if your absence will affect work because of your colleague’s absence, you take a call with discretion

● Regional Holidays are meant to celebrate common holidays that are applicable to you and your Family. Choose them judiciously and inform them in advance so that your Manager can optimize team members availability at all times especially during popular festivals/events.

● We will not bother you during your time-off; however, we would like you to stay connected over emails or calls only in situations that are going out-of-hand or not moving without your intervention

What are we trying to emphasize with this policy? We are placing accountability on you to manage your goals and tasks. Your performance will not be measured by calculating the no. of hours or days you work; instead, it will be measured with your performance against the goals assigned to you, - things you will get done, deadlines you meet, and your contributions for the growth of the organization.

Launch plans: This policy will be put on a trial-mode for a period of three months i.e.October ’21 to December ’21. Based on the success of the policy, it will be rolled-out officially and will remain in action until Management’s discretion.
